Grey Day is a way for the shoe brand to celebrate New Balance’s famous grey and with this 550 they wanted to recreate what would shoes look like after walking on another planet. The holiday also allows the company to put a spotlight on its core values, which  include the “Green Leaf” standards. Moon Daze 550 is crafted from premium nubuck and rugged looking mesh, with variations of blue and white, drawing inspiration from space and the future. While we might not be able to afford a ticket to space anytime soon we could probably splash out a very reasonable feel in the meantime.
